Teamwork!

With NWBR spread out over such a large geographic area our volunteers have to be willing and able to coordinate with a large number of people from all areas as well as form smaller cohesive local groups to get things done at the grassroots level.

Victoria Wysocki is an amazing example of a volunteer who began her relationship with the rescue by adopting Bam Bam from us to be a brother for Goose, she and her husband Steve's baby girl. Victoria and Steve later became excellent foster parents for some tough rescue dogs and they are planning to continue fostering.

This summer Victoria saw a need for volunteers to represent the rescue at local events and she jumped at the chance to spread the word of the work the rescue does and the support we need. Her infectious enthusiasm for these events got her husband Steve and another local volunteer, Connie Hall-Leonard to jump on board and they have been doing events together all summer long!

Teamwork is what keeps NWBR humming along and Team Victoria is making a huge difference. If you'd like to get involved, check out our volunteer opportunities!
