The Art of Rescue
The Art of Rescue is more than a contest—it’s a heartfelt invitation. A movement rooted in compassion, it’s where creativity meets purpose, and where every brushstroke, pencil line, and collage piece tells a story of healing, second chances, and love.
This is rescue, seen through the eyes of artists of all ages. Each submission becomes a quiet testament to what it means to be saved—and to save. Whether your Boxer is the focal point or a subtle detail tucked into a landscape, your art has the power to reveal the soul of this work: the waiting, the hope, the transformation.
Art speaks where words can’t. It captures the unspoken— the quiet ache of abandonment, the joy of reunion, the resilience of a spirit not yet broken. In this shared creative space, we open a window into the lives of Boxers still longing for a home, for healing, for someone to see them.
Boxers today face incredible challenges. Overwhelmed shelters, medical needs left unmet, and the heartbreak of neglect leave far too many without a future. But we believe that awareness is the first step toward change—and that art can light the way.
Here, every voice matters.
Whether you’re in kindergarten or a seasoned artist, your vision adds meaning. Just as no Boxer should ever be forgotten, no piece of art will go unheard. We welcome you to express, to feel, to advocate—through color, form, and imagination.
Let’s create something powerful together.
Let’s raise awareness, spark compassion, and build a future for those still waiting.
Witness the art. Feel the message. Be the change.
The Art of Rescue Guidelines
Submissions open Thursday, May 1, 2025. All entries must be received by
Saturday, June 14, 2025
The theme of The Art of Rescue centers around the power and beauty of Boxer rescue — the second chances, the healing, and the bond formed between rescued dogs and the humans who love them.
We invite artists to share their unique vision of what rescue means, using their creative lens and personal style. Each submission must feature a Boxer dog—whether as the heart of the piece or a thoughtfully integrated detail.
Artwork can be hand-drawn, painted, digitally created, or crafted through collage or mixed media. Let your imagination guide you—there’s no one way to tell a rescue story.
Ultimately, this contest is a celebration of what it means to rescue, to be rescued, and the art of making a difference, one dog at a time.
