Pick Up

Downtown Seattle pick-ups will begin at about 7:30am. If you're not staying within this area, please meet us at the Hyatt Regency Seattle (808 Howell St. between 8th and 9th Ave.) at 7:30am.

A secondary pick-up location is the Ash Way Park & Ride in Lynwood, WA.  Pick-ups will occur there between 8:00am and 8:15am.  If you are joining our tour at the Ash Way Park & Ride, please meet us at the North end of the parking lot adjacent to the metro city bus pick up area.

Once we receive your booking, we will contact you to confirm your individual pick-up time and location. If we have multiple pick-ups on the given day of travel, your individual pick-up time may vary slightly, either earlier or later than 7:30am. As a courtesy to other guests, please be prepared to depart at your designated pick-up time and place.

Drop Off

We will depart the Skagit Valley area by approximately 3:30pm and will make our first stop at the Ash Way Park & Ride at about 4:30pm for any guests who were picked up at that location. Drop-off service at downtown Seattle hotels will be at approximately 5:00pm, depending on traffic.

Dietary Needs

This tour includes complimentary wine tasting along with organic breads and artisans cheeses. If you have particular dietary requirements or allergies, please be sure to notify the guide before your tour date.

Apart from time in transit, we will be spending much of our day outdoors, so please come prepared for the weather. While the winery we visit does have some indoor seating, we prefer to take the group outside when the weather permits. Tulip and daffodil viewing areas and our favorite photography spots are all outside. Weather in the Pacific Northwest can change rapidly and is highly localized. This tour will depart rain or shine, so please come dressed accordingly. Generally, we recommend quick-drying t-shirts and pants, an insulating base layer and a waterproof shell jacket or windbreaker. On rainy days, it would be a good idea to have a rain jacket or a rain poncho too. Throughout the month of April, rain and wind are all common--we also may be blessed with sun and clear blue skies! Please come prepared for everything!

The tulip fields and surrounding areas can get VERY muddy, particularly earlier in the month of April when the weather is generally wetter, compared to the end of the month. For this reason, we highly recommend wearing rain boots or galoshes suitable for wet, muddy ground. You're welcome to bring along a pair of clean shoes to wear on the ride back to Seattle. Dirty boots can go in a plastic bag and are put in the vehicle's cargo area for the ride home.

Other Items

A small backpack to carry a bottle of water, snacks, and an extra layer will probably come in handy. Additional items to keep you comfortable during the day include a hat and sunglasses. On cool, overcast days, a warm hat to keep your ears warm may also be a good idea.

Please note that gratuity is not included in your tour package. While gratuity is never required, it is always greatly appreciated when you receive good service. If you would like to leave a gratuity, you may give it to your guide at the conclusion of the trip. Gratuity/Tips are customarily equal to 15-20%.

Enjoy the tulip fields on a fast track, explore La Conner during a 90 minute lunch opportunity, and have complimentary wine, organic cheese and snacks on a tour of a local winery.
